Post #3: What’s A Blog? September 27, 2008

A blog, in my opinion, is a way of communicating with people that you might have trouble keeping in touch with. My family keeps a blog for our relatives in other parts of the country. I am very comfortable with computers, but I’m still trying to make the conversion to an iMac. typically i use computers to play games, and listen to music. But I also watch tv shows once in a while, mainly after a new episode of The Office airs. Ithink that writing is a good thing to do, my personal favorite is doing free writing, because it leaves me with such a vast majority of options that I get to use my creativity more than if I have to follow a bunch of guidelines.
I think that parents and teachers are so concerned because of some of the incidents some teenagers have been in because they abused the internet. I don’t think that the internet itself is dangerous, I do believe that the way some people utilize the internet is dangerous. Just like falling off a cliff, the fall doesn’t kill you, the splat at the bottom does.
Typically, my friends and I use the internet to play each other at video games. I think that using a blog in my lit class will be a new experience.

Are you kidding me? It makes a butt-load of sense! Just because you don’t understand it doesn’t it doesn’t mean it makes sense.
