Heroes Post May 5, 2009

Now, someone who sits alone in their house forever thinking that their life is amazing do not fall into this category. However, people who have to endure extreme trials and deal with them as best as they can, and don’t give up no matter what the cost. A hero can also, likely because of said reasons, be looked up to by many, and those many can say “Well, he made it. I think I can to.”
A fictional person I would describe to be a hero is Robinson Crusoe. I recently finished this book, and the he starts out as a well to-do, yet rebellious teenager, who goes through many trials and deals greatly and is rewarded for it by gaining a tobacco plantation in Brazil, but when he gets to high headed, he gets knocked with another trial, being stranded on a lonesome island for nearly thirty years. And all the while on the island he just thinks, “If I keep trust in God, he will deliver me from this.” And in the end that is exactly what happens.
A real life person that I think to be a hero is the man in The Pursuit Of Happiness, Christopher Gardener. He truly had ordeals that I wish I will never have to see, but he kept through it all. Even at times that seemed like he was about to come out of his troubles, he got knocked down again. And yet, he still kept through it all and became a powerful CEO.
